AIMS

The primary objective of this symposium is to share current scientific developments in the fields of forest entomology (insect biology, pests, beneficial species, and ecological balances in forest ecosystems) and phytopathology (plant pathogens, disease diagnosis, and control methods), to discuss new research results, and to develop solutions to problems encountered in the field.
Furthermore,

  • The aim is to foster knowledge exchange among academics, researchers, field practitioners, private sector representatives, and students.
  • To strengthen collaboration networks for joint projects, publications, and field studies in forest health management in Turkey and internationally.
  • To raise awareness about the conservation of biodiversity, the sustainability of ecosystem services, and the impact of climate change on forest pests and diseases.
